CD „DETACHED“

Jasmin Kolberg Trio

Jasmin Kolberg – Marimba und Vibraphon
Ulrich Schlumberger – Akkordeon
Henrik Mumm – Kontrabass

„When I listen to this new CD – DETACHED, by Jasmin Kolberg – I hear at all times honest attention to the music, the sound of the instruments, and the true nature of the music by a wonderful musician and artist.  There is nothing fake or gimmickry here about any of the music.   She is a true musical master, and a great marimbist and vibraphonist.  The marimba and the recording sound amazingly beautiful.  I hear beautiful colors and textures through the unusual but fascinating combination of marimba/vibes with accordion and bass.  The arrangements of the Debussy and Sammut pieces especially breath new and exciting life into some of our standard repertoire.  Jasmin Kolberg, and her new CD DETACHED should be listened to over and over again.  GBS“
